Sara Ruch is a brilliant geneticist, artist, and caring friend to many in the Bay Area. For some time now, she has suffered from several debilitating health conditions, including Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), a worsening (and very painful) neck injury, and recurring seizures – all of which have immeasurably impacted her quality of life. After years of not being able to obtain adequate care in the U.S. medical system, Sara has suffered significant adverse effects on both her physical and mental well-being and is in need of regular, stabilizing care. We have found a treatment option that is appropriate for her condition in Mexico and are raising money to help Sara cover the costs of transit, doctor fees, and other related expenses.
