Hello I’m Kimberly & I’m here on behalf of my beloved salon guest & friend Sara Johnson. I’ve had the chance to get to know Sara over the last 9 years. Meeting at our beloved gym Iron Legion Strength & then become fast friend, she asked me to become her hair stylist & our friendship has grown into close friends over the years.

On August 30 Sara was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma that metastasized to the lymph node. Had a bilateral mastectomy on October 8, then the second surgery because of seroma’s in both breasts which required removal and replacement of tissue expanders. She starts 8 cycles of chemotherapy next week, followed by 16 rounds of radiation, then hormone replacement therapy.

Last week Sara was in the salon and we prepared for what is to come by giving her a killer short “rocker vibe” hair cut. I have never seen a women so strong as I checked in as we cut her hair extremely short. Her bravery & strength is nothing sort of amazing but the next few months will pose as a challenge. This Thursday Dec 5th Sara & I will be going to a consult for her hair system so she can remain confident during the next leg or her journey. It is my hope that we can easy some of the financial burden for her hair system & some of the expenses of not being able to work the next few months. Please anything helps! Sara has a giving & loving heart & she is the first to help others. Please it is our time to help her.
