Help Sara get a Reliable Scooter to get Around!
Donation protected
My name is Randee Davidson, and I am raising money for my sister, Sara (Worthen) Farnsworth, to get a new reliable scooter. This morning after watching her have to push her scooter across campus because it died again after a whole night's charge, I decided I needed to do something more because I am not always there to help her. I know a new reliable scooter will help her be more successful in her own life of raising four children as a single mom and help her in her career as a sped teacher.
My sister needs a scooter to help her move around because of a rock climbing accident that she had when she was sixteen. She fell 20 feet and broke her neck. After a 16-hour surgery, they saved her life. After three months of inpatient therapy, she learned to sit up and walk with a walker. After years of outpatient therapy, she learned to walk with a cane. After a decade, she has learned to be a mom of four and a teacher while having a disability. A scooter is essential for her to be able to function and keep up with life.
My sister is the hardest working person I know. I would love to help her get a new scooter as soon as possible so she can feel more successful in life and not have to waste energy on pushing her dead scooter to a plug and walking with a cane across campus from class to class. Please help me reach this goal so my sister can use that energy to serve her students and her children.
