Our dear friend Sara is facing something no one should ever have to: a cancer diagnosis at just 31 years old that has turned her world upside down.
Sara is selfless, kind, gentle, and passionate—someone who has left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know her. For the past eight years, she’s been a beloved preschool teacher in Needham, helping to shape the hearts and minds of hundreds of children. Ask any parent or student, and they’ll tell you: Sara is the kind of teacher you never forget.
She is also a devoted friend, sister, and world citizen - always the first to show up with a hug, thoughtful gift, or a laugh just when you need it most.
In March, Sara began aggressive treatment for Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and difficult cancer. She’s fighting with grace and determination, but the financial toll is huge. From medical bills and frequent travel for treatment, to extended time off work (for her and her mom) and countless unforeseen expenses, the weight of this diagnosis goes far beyond the physical.
We’re raising funds to help ease that burden—so Sara can focus on what matters most: healing. No amount is too small. If you’re unable to give financially, consider donating blood—Sara needs regular transfusions, and your donation could directly help her and others in similar situations.
