Help Sara Fight for Her Life and Care for Her Children

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sister-in-law, Sara. She has been bravely battling a tumor in her head that has wrapped around her facial nerve and is now pressing on her brain stem. Without surgery, doctors say she may only have a few years to live.

Over the past year, Sara has been in and out of the hospital, juggling countless doctor’s appointments, scans, and treatments. She’s been doing everything she can to keep going, but she has now run out of paid time off from work. The constant pain and partial facial paralysis caused by the tumor have made it nearly impossible for her to work full-time, yet she continues to fight through every day with courage and grace.

Sara is a single mom of three amazing teenagers, who need her more than ever. She has always been the one to give — to her kids, her friends, and her community. Now, she’s the one who needs help. The surgery to remove the tumor is critical and will require an extensive recovery period, during which she won’t be able to work or cover her living expenses.

We are trying to raise enough money to help cover her medical bills, time away from work, and household expenses while she focuses on healing. Every single donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward giving Sara the chance to recover and continue being the loving, strong mother and sister that she is.
