Hello! I set this up because I just learned that I was accepted into one of the most prestigious writing conferences in the country! I would really appreciate the chance to attend the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, where I can meet amazing writers and get the workshop experience I need to take my novel to the next level. My novel is about an Indian-American Muslim girl (much like myself) who becomes a nanny for a wealthy family in Istanbul, and things take a turn when the kids go missing. I'm still working on the first draft, and I'm eager to get feedback from seasoned writers. My work centers on Indian Muslims navigating their identities in the face of hardship. You can read my short story about the Muslim grandmother who gets a dog that terrorizes her community.
