Help Sara & Arthur Rebuild After Mold Crisis

Sara Demetry and Arthur Jennings are close friends and long time sangha members. They have been confronted by a series of difficult challenges. Their house in Barnet (only a few miles from Karme Choling) was discovered to have toxic mold throughout the structure. Sara has been sickened by the exposure and was afraid they would never be able to move in again.

As a result they have had to completely tear out existing walls down to the studs and install a very expensive air exchange system to eliminate any dampness and recurrence of mold. Sara and Arthur have been gypsies for months while the work has been going on. Expenses have ballooned and they have spent about $120,000 for remediation and rebuilding. They have had to dip into savings, inheritance, as well as borrowing from friends. In addition Arthur has serious health issues.

Their home is almost ready to move back into. Please help Sara and Arthur get back to a sustainable financial future as Arthur is retired and Sara is working long hours at a further cost to her health.
