Help Sara and Megan’s Charity Skydive
Hi Guys,
Words can’t describe how nervous we both are to be writing/sharing this post but myself and Megan have decided to do a charity skydive at the Parachute Club in Co.Offaly. (Anyone who knows us well know how terrified we both are of heights)
In November all going well, Megan and I will be jumping 13,000ft in aid of Irish Cancer Society and Pieta House.
We all know or have a family member who has gone through some type of cancer in there lifetime. As many of ye know that my mam went through it but sadly died when I was just 19, and unfortunately we have another family member going through the same again. We would like nothing more than to be able to help families as we have been there and know how difficult it is. Irish cancer society is an amazing organisation that work with families going through cancer and after as well, offering support and counselling if needed.
We also decided on Pieta House because of the tough and uncertain times of today that people are going through at the
moment. Pieta house is an incredible organisation that provides help for people with free therapy program. Since the pandemic Pieta House has been overwhelmed with the amount of calls they are receiving
and can’t facilitate to help everyone.
We would be extremely grateful if you could help us support this worthy cause and even if a donation is not possible for you right now a quick share of this post or a comment would be so greatly appreciated. We have attached a link to the online donation page and we have also been given sponsorship cards if you would like to donate in person.
Thanks very much everyone.
