Many of you know about our son Luke's beautiful soul mate, Sara Higuchi. She is in the hospital right now in ICU in critical condition. The doctors don't know yet what is going on for sure in her body, but whatever it is, is causing her a super high and dangerous fever (106 degrees) and a lot of pain. She has been having health issues since she birthed our precious grand baby Jaycee in September. She has been to the emergency room twice and the doctors office, only to receive pain meds and antibiotics to only treat the symptoms and not the cause. Three days ago, it got unbearable for Sara, and Luke brought her to the emergency room once again. We discussed with them to make sure they tell the doctor to stop masking the pain with medication, but to insist they get to the root of the problem. They ended up admitting her into the hospital. The next day her lungs began filling up with fluid, causing her difficulty in breathing... so much so, they put her on a breathing machine and had to fully sedate her. She's laying in a hospital bed in a drug induced coma, to give her body rest, to wait for her temperature to go down and to wait for what seems like a lifetime, the results of a few more tests to help the doctors determine what is going on in her body.

Luke has stayed by her side the entire time and it has been so heartbreaking and touching at the same time, seeing her struggle for life and him at her side praying unceasingly for her healing.

Many of you have prayed already and we so thank you! Plz don't stop. Her temperature is lower now - Praise God! But, still not down enough where it needs to be.

Luke will be at her side until she is coherent and totally out of critical condition (couldn't pry him away if we tried - bless his heart). His love and dedication to Sara and the babies is so beautiful.

Some of you have asked if there is anything you could do to help... first of all, please stand in agreement through your PRAYERS for Sara's total healing and wholeness IN JESUS NAME! And, secondly... we are believing for God's provision to help them financially get through this storm. We are starting a GoFundMe account for those that can help this young couple financially. Understandably, Luke will be out of work for however long it takes for Sara to get back on her feet again. If you can, plz give whatever you can to help them.
