Hi my name is Louisa and I'm starting this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine Sara. For those that may know her, her life changed October 18, 2021 she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and they did test to see if it had spread and unfortunately it has spread to her lungs and liver . Sarah has two kids and was working full time but as she started chemo it's made her very sick to where she can't work . Due to her cancer spreading she will be going to upstate syracuse cancer center where she will have 8 weeks more treatment . Also in the weeks to come she will have surgery as well on her lungs / colon and liver. She also has a pet scan coming up to see if the cancer is in her brain and while this is all so scary to take in Sara remains strong for her kids . If any of you could help out any dollar helps it will ll go toward medical bills, also for bills that will need to be paid while she's out of work and that's looking like June could be much longer the recovery from surgery is at least 4 to 6 weeks .
