Help Sapphire Get Life-Saving Surgery

I am making this fundraiser for my friend's dog who developed a closed pyometra (infection of the uterus). Her name is Sapphire and she is a 5-year-old blue nose, red nose, pitbull. She likes to play with her toys, being outside, walking, and chasing the hose. She likes to cuddle or act like she’s a lap dog. She loves meeting new people.

They found her acting off and lethargic and took her to the emergency vet in Fargo and were informed she needs surgery to remove the infected uterus. $500 later, they went home with some pills to help her feel a bit better. Today, she was dropped off at the Dakota Veterinary Hospital in Wahpeton for surgery. They said it will be $1500 for that. I'm hoping to help them raise some funds to ease the burden on this family.

A couple of weeks ago, they lost their 17-year-old dog, Angel. They don't want to lose another family member so soon. Shelly and her daughters are really good people, and I want to do everything I can to help them as I have been in this exact situation and it's definitely not easy.
