Help Sapphire and other shelter dogs like her!
Donation protected
The Stanislaus Shelter in California is overwhelmed and overcrowded. There are over 200 dogs there, and even though the staff and volunteers try their best, it’s not a happy place to be living.
Sapphire had been living in her tiny cell for 3 months, getting progressively more depressed. She began injuring her face badly by trying to escape.
Thankfully, Pack Lyfe Rescue stepped up and saved her life!! Sapphire is now safe in a foster home, but they need help covering her costs- vet bills, supplies, etc.
Another organization that played a huge role in saving her is the Turbo Memorial Fund. Volunteers at the Stanislaus Shelter set up this fund to help dogs have the fairest chance of getting out alive. It pays for a professional trainer to come to the shelter and work with the dogs, so they can get a fair assessment instead of incorrectly being labeled aggressive or unadoptable. This fund has saved countless lives by giving the dogs a chance to show their true personalities when they aren’t terrified getting dragged into the shelter. The fund also pays for off-site boarding for dogs that are out of time at the shelter but still need to find a home.
However, their funds are running low and they need more donations so they can continue these life saving efforts!
Donations will go to Pack Lyfe Rescue to support Sapphire and the other dogs in their care, and to the Turbo Memorial Fund to help more dogs like Sapphire leave the shelter alive too. Thank you so much!!!!
