Hello there, my name is Sapphira Mohammed and I’m a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University that’s majoring in Digital Journalism. Recently, I got accepted into a study abroad program in Kyoto,Japan with IEI media to be able to report there for a whole month. While I’m currently working two student jobs and applying to as many scholarships as possible, it still won’t be enough money by the deadline on April 1st. This would be a life changing opportunity as I’ve never traveled out of the country before and the experience would be amazing for my career that starts shortly after graduating in May this year.
