Help Santos Corrales in His Time of Need

Last week, our beloved friend Santos Corrales was detained by ICE on a traffic stop. His situation is very serious, and now more than ever, he needs the support of those who know and care about him.

Santos isn’t just a tireless worker with golden hands— he’s a truly exceptional human being. For over 20 years, he’s served hundreds of families across the Austin community with care and dedication, leaving a lasting mark on every home he’s touched. Whether renovating a kitchen, fixing a bathroom, installing floors, or beautifying a garden, he’s always worked as if it were his own home: with pride, respect, and excellence.

And just like his name suggests, Santos really is a Saint. He has a pure heart, is always willing to help, and carries himself with deep humility. He has a completely clean record — never a single problem with the law — and has lived an honest, hardworking life, filled with integrity and kindness.

Many families — mine included — have relied on him during important moments, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.

Sadly, even the good ones get taken. Santos is no threat to anyone — he is the opposite: an example of hard work, dignity, and quiet service to others.

We’re raising funds to help with legal expenses and any urgent needs that come up. If you’re able to contribute or share this with others who know him, we would be deeply grateful. Every little bit counts.

Queridos amigos,

La semana pasada, nuestro querido amigo Santos Corrales fue detenido por inmigración. Su situación es muy delicada, y hoy más que nunca necesita del apoyo de quienes lo conocemos y lo queremos.

Santos no es solo un trabajador incansable con manos de oro, es también un ser humano excepcional. Durante mas de 20 años, ha servido con entrega y cariño a cientos de familias en la comunidad de Austin, dejando una huella imborrable en cada hogar que tocó. Ya sea renovando una cocina, arreglando un baño, instalando pisos o embelleciendo un jardín, siempre ha trabajado como si fuera su propia casa, con dedicación, respeto y excelencia.

Y como bien lo dice su nombre, Santos es realmente un Santo! Tiene un corazón generoso, siempre dispuesto a ayudar, y una humildad que lo ha hecho querido por todos los que lo conocemos. Tiene un historial completamente limpio, nunca ha tenido problemas con la ley, y ha vivido con honestidad, esfuerzo y dignidad.

Muchas familias —incluida la mía— hemos podido contar con él en momentos clave, y ahora le toca a él recibir ese mismo apoyo.

Y sí… desafortunadamente también se llevan a los buenos. Santos no representa un peligro, sino un ejemplo de trabajo, integridad y servicio a los demás.
