Hi everyone, my name is Santiago. Recently, I went through a situation in my community that resulted in serious misunderstanding, misreporting, and harm to my reputation and livelihood.

Although everything has now been fully resolved, the aftermath has been significant. Multiple news articles published about the situation were false, misleading, and harmful, creating lasting damage to my name. There were also major investigative failures, which caused the situation to escalate far beyond what it should have.

This event disrupted my work, my stability, and my daily life. I run a small IT and computer repair business that depends entirely on word-of-mouth trust. Because of the misinformation that spread, many clients stepped back, and my income dropped drastically.

I also care for Doc, my 15½-year-old special-needs dog who uses a wheelchair, and Maui, my 6-year-old companion. The stress and disruption affected our household deeply.

I’m now focusing on recovering, rebuilding my reputation, and restoring the stability I lost.

I’m raising funds to help with:

- Rebuilding my business after loss of income and stability

- Addressing the harm caused by misinformation

- Managing home and personal expenses during recovery

- Preparing for next steps to restore my name and stability

All funds will be carefully accounted for and used solely for recovery and rebuilding. If future action results in any compensation, I intend to donate a portion to help others who have been affected by harmful public misreporting or procedural failures.
