Early Saturday morning, the Santiago family woke up to their home of nearly 15 years on fire. While they thankfully all made it out safe and well, they lost everything in the home. There wasn't enough time to grab anything other than the clothes they were already wearing. 

All three children Nicko (13), Ashley (16), and Jessica (23) are online students during the pandemic. They lost all of their laptops, textbooks, and everything else they needed to be in school virtually.

The family is starting over - finding a place to live, getting new furniture, clothes, food, household items, and more. 

Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. 



About the Santiagos: 

The parents immigrated here to give their children a better life than they had living in Mexico. Mr. Santiago works tirelessly to make sure his children have access to opportunities he was never afforded. Mrs. Santiago is the most wholesome, loving, caring mom who would do anything for her children. 

Jessica is a proud first-generation college graduate and now law student who has already been recognized at her law school for how much she has given back to her community through pro bono hours and clinic clients. 

Ashley has began the process of looking into colleges so she can start her own journey. She has an incredibly kind and inquisitive spirit as she figures out what she wants to pursue. 

Nicko is the quintessential teenager at heart. He loves playing video games and eating any food brought to the house, but even more he loves spending time with his sisters.
