Our dear friend and mother, Santana, has spent nearly three decades caring for others in healthcare. Now she needs our help as she battles Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) and prepares for a life-saving bone marrow transplant. After exhausting multiple treatments and clinical trials, she continues to face mounting medical and travel expenses. Any donation, big or small, will help Santana focus on healing and being with her family.

In June 2023, Santana was re-diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, a rare blood disorder that has changed her life in countless ways. Since then, she has participated in several clinical trials and traveled many times between Augusta and Atlanta, Georgia, hoping to find a treatment that worked. Unfortunately, none have been successful so far.

Now, Santana is preparing for a bone marrow transplant, and by the grace of God, her beautiful daughter is a perfect match.

For 28 years, Santana has given her heart and soul to helping others in healthcare. She’s a single mother of three amazing children and a proud grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. The financial strain of treatment, travel, and time away from work has been overwhelming — but Santana continues to face every challenge with strength, faith, and love.

She finds joy in church, family time, nature, waterfalls, and animals, holding on to the simple things that bring her peace and hope.
