We are a 6-member Odyssey of the Mind team made up of 5th graders and a 3rd grader from Santa Rosa, California. Odyssey of the Mind is an international program that encourages creativity, engineering, teamwork, and innovation. After months of hard work and practice, we are thrilled to share that we have won both our regional and state competitions! Now, we have the incredible opportunity to represent Santa Rosa at the World finals in Iowa this May, competing with teams from all over the world.
This year, our mission was to build a robot that would lead our team on a safari. But instead of arriving at a campus full of hippopotamuses, our robot malfunctioned and led us to the hippocampus of the brain. The adventure unraveled from there! This challenged us to think outside the box, work together, and use our imaginations in new ways.
This journey means so much to us, but getting to World Finals comes with significant travel and competition expenses. We are reaching out to our community because we know you value creativity, innovation, and thinking outside the box. Just like we do! With your support, we can cover the costs needed for our team to travel to Iowa State University and participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event.
We are working toward a quick fundraising deadline and would be so grateful for your help. Your donation will make a real difference in helping us achieve our dreams and represent Santa Rosa on a global stage.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support!
