Hi, We are Debby Luppens, Santa Muerte Going Dutch and Dr Kate Kingsbury, writer and academic on Santa Muerte. We are asking to please help us raise money to help Santa Muerte Leader and Curandera Mari. She is in hospital with severe grade 2 and 3 burns and suffering intense pain. Mari with her mother founded a Santa Muerte chapel in Oaxaca - see photos below. Following a serious fire Mari was burnt on her body, legs, arms and face. Your money would go towards helping her, and providing medicine, food and other essentials to her.
The family has so little, and will have to put aside resources to help Mari at this time who can no longer work.
