Hi friends and family,

As some of you know, my partner Nikki has a spunky and fun-loving daughter named Sansa. Sansa has spent most of her life fighting leukemia, and she’s been in remission from leukemia for 2+ years. Recently, Sansa was diagnosed with a secondary cancer - Stage 4 Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma. This news has been devastating and we are gearing up for some difficult months ahead as we prepare to start treatment and tackle this thing head on. With upcoming treatments of chemotherapy and radiation, Sansa will be spending most, if not all, of her treatment time inpatient at John’s Hopkins.

While there is never a good time to receive a diagnosis like this, it has come at an already difficult time financially for us. We are asking for donations to help us stay afloat and cover costs related to Sansa’s care. This will include the following:

- Help covering our essential bills so that Nikki can dedicate her time to caring for Sansa. Nikki recently graduated with her PhD and has been diligently searching for a job post-grad. However, with this news comes the reality that it will be difficult for her to even start full time work while Sansa is in treatment.

- Costs related to food, transportation, and parking, which can quickly add up.
