Sanna had been in remission from ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia) for six weeks when she suddenly relapsed. Not only that, but she was diagnosed with an additional autoimmune illness called IMHA (immune mediated hemolytic anemia). She went back to the hospital and received a transfusion and chemo, and she has started to rebuild her platelets and red blood cells. This little shihtzu mix is such a fighter!
