Sanjay and Inderia Tomlinson are hardworking siblings whose lives were turned upside down by Hurricane Melissa. The storm destroyed their home, leaving them with nothing and forcing them to seek shelter with neighbors. Right now, they are staying in a small two-bedroom house that is now crowded with six extra people, making their situation even more difficult and urgent.

Both Sanjay and Inderia are currently out of work, with no income to rely on. Sanjay is a single father and the sole caretaker of his 7-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum. Since the passing of his son's mother two years ago, Sanjay has been doing everything he can to provide for his child. Yesterday was his son's birthday, but today, they are left without a place to call home. The family urgently needs support for housing repairs, food, and shelter so they can begin to rebuild their lives and find stability again.

Jamaica has extended a 30-day window where imported goods are tax free due to the impact and devastation of the hurricane. My goal is to buy essentials like a generator, personal hygiene items, food, and clothes, as everything was flood damaged. To make matters worse, it continues to rain heavily over an already uprooted home, leaving nothing salvageable.
