Help fund R&D for brain-healthy, keto baked goods

The idea for Sandy's Sweets came to be from love and learning. My mother, Sandy, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we decided to move her across the country to come live with us so that we could take care of her. The following years were challenging and we not only became incredibly patient and compassionate as individuals, but we learned and continue to learn about Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia and what lifestyle choices contribute to the development of these horrible diseases. Throughout our studies, we learned that while other forms of dementia aren’t necessarily preventable because they are due to primarily uncontrollable life circumstances, Alzheimer’s Disease is almost entirely preventable IF action is taken prior to noticeable symptoms and diagnosis.

We learned and continue educating ourselves on the lifestyle changes and adaptations that can be made to reverse early signs or any possible signs of Alzheimer’s forming.

Sandy's Sweets aims to provide the highest quality ingredients ketogenic baked goods that are brain healthy. Treats that won't raise blood sugar, are ketogenic (when eaten at the recommended amount) and can be enjoyed by those with neurologic issues without making them worse. On top of providing sweet treats to people that will protect their brain health, we want to bring awareness to the importance of Alzheimer’s prevention. It is our goal to help those who have been affected, in any way, by Alzheimer’s, understand how to prevent and/or reverse those early-stage symptoms. The most important thing we can do with this company is work to educate people about the possibility of escaping the fate of Alzheimer’s. As a start to that agenda, we will begin by donating 30% of our profits towards Alzheimer's research and hope to be able to increase that percentage as we grow.
