Help Sandy Get Off the Streets and Into Safe Housing

Hi, my name is Julea, and I’m starting this fundraiser to help a woman named Sandy Smith who is currently homeless and in urgent need of support.

Sandy is an elderly woman who sits outside the Wawa on Cortez every day. You may have seen her if you’re local. She’s kind, quiet, and deeply grateful for any help she receives. But her situation is heartbreaking.

Sandy is going blind and can barely walk. She has no stable housing, very few belongings, and no family nearby to support her.

She’s been on the streets for a long time and, sadly, has declined help with housing. It seems she may be struggling mentally, so we’re asking for your continued prayers and compassion for her.

While she isn’t ready to accept long-term assistance, your donations have already made a difference.

We were able to get her some necessities she requested, along with sun protection since she spends most of her day out in the heat.

Any support you gave is going directly toward helping meet Sandy’s immediate needs—food, water, hygiene supplies, and comfort items.
