My mom, Sandy Rentschler, was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer in April. She is an Oscoda resident, and has been a member of the community for 20 years. Over the last ten years she has had to watch so many people she loves be taken by the same disease that is currently infecting her. Since April she has undergone radiation and begun chemo/immunotherapy. I am starting this GoFundMe in support of paying her bills now that she is not able to work. It is insane that in a world with so much wealth, being diagnosed with a disease such as this can just end up adding extra stress of money and having the ability to pay your bills as well.
