Family and friends,
As you may know, our sister-in-law, Sandy Bohn, has been living with a debilitating nerve disease, CIPD, which causes a great deal of pain and makes it very difficult for her to walk. She now faces even greater challenges, with a recent diagnosis of a very aggressive form of cancer. She hopes to soon begin chemo and immunotherapy treatments and has quite a battle in front of her.
Sandy needs full-time care, and Andy (her husband and our brother) has taken a leave of absence from work to care for her. The mounting medical expenses, out-of-town trips for treatments, hospital stays, and daily living expenses present quite a financial burden. To ease the burden and stress this brings, so they can focus on Sandy’s treatment and healing, we have started a GoFundMe and are asking for your support.
Any amount you can give will truly help.
For family and friends connected to the Les Cheneaux community, please consider sharing this with others in the full-time and extended summer community! If you are local and wish to help in other ways, such as meals, errands, visiting, or giving Andy a break, your kindness would mean so much to Andy and Sandy.
To extended family and friends, even if you don’t know Andy and Sandy, we greatly appreciate any support that you can offer. Your care and generosity are deeply appreciated.
With Gratitude and Thanks,
Anita Bohn Bedinghaus and Kate Skowronek
