Help Sandy & family. Lost everything in fire.

On the morning of February 20, 2020 at 4:15am, Sandy Shadix’s home and her ONLY family vehicle suffered extensive damage in a house fire. Thankfully, Sandy, her 11 year old twins, and family dog are safe and unharmed.

Sandy, a single mother, is our neighbor and friend in Winter Park, FL. Sandy is a wonderful person who never blinks an eye when it comes to helping others and us, which makes this even more heartbreaking.

Because victims of fires this extensive face overwhelming costs, I am hoping this campaign can help alleviate some of their burden. As a renter, Sandy and her family are not eligible for any insurance proceeds claimed by the property owner and she does not hold renters insurance and only has liability coverage on her vehicle.

Therefore, I am hopeful that we, as a community, can help Sandy and her family rebuild their lives. They will need to purchase another car, funds for a new place, furniture, clothing, shoes, and basic miscellaneous items needed for daily use.

Thank you for all of your love and support, and God bless.
