Hello! My name is Sandro. I’m a husband, father, son, uncle, dog dad, artist, and part time rodeo clown. Ok all is true except for the last one. About 6 years ago my life changed forever when I became very dizzy while driving and turned into a ditch. Ever since then I’ve lost a good amount of my independence from not being able to drive myself places.

My condition also causes near constant migraines, light sensitivity, and brain fog. Until recently I had given up hope of ever getting my life back until I found out about something called Neuro Ophthalmology.

I (and my doctors) have long had a suspicion that my issues stem from a vision misalignment, but couldn’t find the right specialist to diagnose and correct my eyes.

There is strong evidence that I suffer from a condition called BVD, which can only be diagnosed and treated by certain practitioners. BVD is a vertical misalignment of the eyes which causes, well, basically all the stuff I have.

The only hang up is the cost. These specialists do not accept insurance and the steep cost is not something I can afford alone.

The funds from this campaign will help me get a proper diagnosis and start on the road to recovery, and maybe even get my independence back.

Asking for help is very very difficult, but if there’s a chance I can take my kids on a camping trip or for a solo date to the park I’m willing to swallow my pride and accept some assistance.
