UPDATE;

It has been one month since I have lost my husband rick.

I have tried the gofundme route and I had several friends that helped out and I am so very thankful!

I still have not received anything from the social security office and from what I understand I will not be getting not even close.What I used to get.So i'm kind of stressing a little bit except that I am trying to trust in the lord to take care of me. It dawned on me today.It's bad enough that i'm on my own which I never have ever been before, and it's bad enough that I don't have Rick to run things by and

Talk to. It's bad enough that it's during the holiday season and now i'm alone , broke. And christmas season. Plus swallowing my pride and making a gofundme for myself. That truly is very humiliating. Even more than the funds I would appreciate lots of prayer.I know a lot of you are already and I appreciate it beyond.I can say.

Most of you know me already, but I'm sandra austin and I was married to richard austin, almost twenty two years. But last time on november seventh. We had always been struggling with finances.But once our social security/ disability checks came in, things calm down pretty much because I got a good job and was doing okay. Then, rick was put on hospice, they told him he had 3 to 6. months to live... But hung on for a complete year. I was not able to work anymore so it was slowly chipping away any money that we had because I had no work. Our landlord approached us and said we had to be out in two weeks. If it hadn't been for my daughter and son in law.And my oldest son from north carolina, we would have been screwed. They all kicked in packing, cleaning, getting me out of the house and rick and moving us to our new home in tennessee. I love this house.It's small, but it's on thirty five acres, with a big giant catfish pond. It's two hundred dollars more a month than our other house, but even then that's a very good price. We have not been here but about two weeks and richard went home to be with the Lord. It's weird how it happened.That all of a suddenHe's gone and i'm all alone. Trying to change health insurance company, setting up water, electric garbage disposal our mail.Well everything that it goes with moving and dealing with the death of my husband.

In a nutshell, I found out that social security had me fill out paperwork because they said I had to register rick's death and my money and his money and all that confusing stuff before I will get my next check to pay the bills, and cover all the

Automatic withdrawals that came in two days ago with no check in the bank. And they tell me, there will not be a check in the bank for at least 2 to 3 months. How am I supposed to pay the?Rent? How am I supposed to pay any of the bills?The car payment, the car insurance, The electric bill, the water bill, the garbage pickup bill.My cell phone, cable, and there again.The list goes on... the rent????

I'm so so far away from everybody out here in the hills of tennessee.Where it's beautiful, peaceful and absolutely awesome... And my health is not all that wonderful, either, getting a job is out of the question... When because of my health and second of all, i'm way way out of here. Just go to walmart almost takes me thirty minutes. And that's relatively close compared to everything else. I'm desperately looking for a dentist, but that's covered in my insurance.Also, i'm desperately looking for a doctor, which also is covered by my insurance. But the closest dentist and doctor is forty five minutes away. I need help until my social security gets all untangled... I'm not asking for one big lump. Sum, just 5 or 10 here and there adds up pretty fast..
