Support for the Brooks Family after Nicks Passing
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my father, Nick, who unexpectedly left me, my mom, Sandra, sister Sarah, and niece Issabella, at the age of 73 after a debilitating illness. He was the backbone of our family, working tirelessly in excavation until his retirement just a year and a half ago. My father was a man of immense strength, dedication, and love, and his absence has left a hole in our hearts and in our home that can never be filled.
He had a true passion for life, often found enjoying his beloved "oldies" music—he was a huge Beach Boys fan! His love for music was matched only by his joy in taking care of his yard, always busy with little projects around the house. And who could forget his love for ice cream sundaes? He had a sweet tooth that was hard to beat.
My dad loved his family fiercely. As the main contributor to our household, my father’s passing has placed a significant burden on my mother. My sister Sarah who works in the town of Norwell, and her daughter Issabella also live in the house. Sarah has a debilitating degenerative disease that she copes with daily.
His loss has left us facing not only the emotional weight but also the financial challenges of covering his burial expenses and ensuring that my mother is supported as she navigates this new chapter of her life.
No amount of preparation could have ever prepared us for this. My father was not ready to leave us, and neither were we. We humbly ask for any support you can offer to help ease this burden during such a difficult time. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards his funeral expenses and supporting my mother’s future.
We are truly grateful for your love, thoughts, and prayers as we try to navigate life without the incredible man who raised us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and kindness.
