On the evening of June 26th, my sister Sandra, her husband Ben, and their dog Bowie experienced a house fire that left their home uninhabitable. While the structure is still standing, the damage was extensive, and the house will need to be fully rebuilt. They also lost nearly all of their belongings—furniture, clothing, personal items, and everything they had for the arrival of their first baby this October.

We’re incredibly thankful for the Wayland Fire Department that everyone made it out safely. As you can imagine, the emotional toll of losing your home is enormous on its own. But to face it while pregnant—adds an entirely different level of heartbreak.

I’m raising funds to help support Sandra and Ben as they navigate this transition and begin the long process of rebuilding. Any contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward helping them recover and prepare for what’s ahead.
