Help Sim & Jay rebuild their lives after cyclone Alfred.

Hi friends and family,
Simone & Jay have lost their home in Mount Nathan following the devastating cyclone Alfred. A tree caused the unthinkable, it fell on their house and caused immense structural damage.
At first it was contained to the bathroom, playroom and master wardrobe, but by the time the rain had stopped, the whole house was flooded and there is only 1 room not affected.
Due to the structural & water damage the house is un-liveable.
Luckily the incredible neighbours raised the alarm about the tree, and Simone and the kids were able to evacuate before it happened and were safely staying at my house.
It’s been a crazy week. They are currently in emergency accommodation for two weeks and still don’t know where they will be living after this.
They are insured (thankfully) and are waiting for assessors and having to take things day by day.
They are taking it well, as the supportive team they are. But it’s stressful and I wanted to create this page to help ease the burden of additional costs this disaster has created for them.
They have to start again. Might be a total rebuild.
A lot of people are asking how they can help, and the best way I can think of is to help them financially.
Thank you.

Thank you for your support.
