Family and Friends,
It has come to my attention that some of you have asked how you can support Sandi financially. This page is set up to afford you that opportunity using a safe and secure forum. Every dollar will go directly to Sandi to help offset her expenses.
We all were incredibly saddened to see John pass last May. It is fair to say that Sandi has been hit particularly hard through it all as she lost not only her husband and best friend, but also her provider financially.
She has since been quite literally overwhelmed with all that has been required of her to sustain her household financially and to satisfy those tasks necessary when a spouse passes--this on top of having served sacrificially and tirelessly as John’s caretaker for months and right up to his passing at their home just ten months ago. We all observed her love for John in this way.
Since John passed, Sandi can no longer afford their home and other expenses. The probate process has been tenuous and quite a learning experience for all. Though progress is being made, the learning curve only prolonged expenses as she could not reach resolution quickly on how to accomplish the sale of their home since it is in his name. Add to this, being hit by an uninsured motorist, overseeing substantial repairs to the home, (made even worse by a very rough period due to COVID, ice storms, and more), and all the while caring for her mother who was in and out of nursing homes due to COVID. You get the picture--2020 and 2021 (so far) have been tough years all the way around!
That said, Sandi is a fighter and continues to press forward with much love and support from family and friends. We love her and her love for John.
Thank you very much for reading and for your consideration! She will be blessed.
Sincerely,
Sean Darrell
