Still remember the faces of children in Piura, Peru — their laughter echoing through broken streets after the flood. They had lost everything, yet carried more faith than I had ever seen in my life.
“Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.”

The Calling.
My name is Sandeep Naidu, parishioner at St. Ann’s and a fervent believer in Christ. Before CRHP, my heart had a massive void. Now, it burns like a living, perpetual fire. This life of love, dedication, joy, community, and submission to God’s will is what is carrying me through.
And so, I open this campaign. I have been feeling the calling of the holy spirit. It started with a feeling and has grown to a fervent calling.
“However, when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you to the complete truth, since he will not be speaking of his own accord, but will say only what he has been told; and he will reveal to you the things to come.”

Let me tell you a story.
Piura sits under a blazing sun. The air carries the scent of dust and woodsmoke. Children chase each other through narrow streets, barefoot and laughing — joy shining through poverty.
They had nothing, and they had everything
In 2018 I went on a mission with St. Ann to Puira, right after a flood. They had lost everything, yet somehow, they had everything. I thought I was serving them, but they were serving me. Even under such raw conditions, they opened their hearts to welcome this stranger to their land, and their homes. Their hunger to hear about Jesus and feel the Holy Spirit is palpable. So much so that it is common to see people from the nearby villages walk an hour or more to mass, and they’re never late.
The Church.
Padre Jose runs the Parish of Santisimo Sacramento and he does a magnificent job. With it, he also runs a girls home with approximately one hundred girls, making sure they are educated, fed, clothed and raised in the Catholic faith. He’s also created a space with a refugee house , a hospice and runs a beautiful program for addicts , housing them and giving them the care that they need to recover.
The Mission.
I will be in Puira for three months, and this journey led by the Holy Spirit starts in December. I will be praying, teaching, and serving — following the call God placed on my heart and doing the Lord’s work. Working as directed by Padre Jose and help make a difference in the lives of people.
The Ask.
All the donations will help cover flight expenses back and forth covers a full day of mission — food, shelter, transportation, and the chance to share Jesus’ love with those who are hungry for it. My total goal is $4,500 for three months of service. You can make a one-time donation or a monthly commitment — whatever the spirit moves you to give.
I will be sharing updates of my trip, photos, the stories of those whose lives have been touched; and I will be praying constantly, fervently, for those at the Parish, for you and all other donors.
When I kneel in a small Peruvian chapel of the Sacred Heart, surrounded by children singing hymns at Padre Jose’s mass, I’ll be carrying you with me — in every prayer, every step, every act of service.
