Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are the Dosanjh Family, and we are fundraising to support urgent specialist care for our beloved father and husband, Sandeep Dosanjh.

Sandeep is just 55 years old and has spent the last two decades living with the progressive and painful condition Ankylosing Spondylitis, which has now fused the bones in his spine, leaving him with severely restricted mobility and chronic pain. Over the years, his condition has led to numerous health complications, including:

A heart attack at just 38 years old

Vision issues due to recurring eye inflammation

Severe skin psoriasis

Spinal deterioration and bone weakening

Despite all of this, Sandeep has always remained strong and determined to support our family and live as independently as possible.

A Life-Altering Accident

In October 2023, Sandeep suffered a devastating fall that fractured two vertebrae in his neck (C5 and C6). He spent months in intensive care, underwent spinal surgery, and was eventually discharged in January 2024, with a plan for outpatient rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the public healthcare system was unable to deliver the promised physio and rehabilitation services, leaving his recovery painfully slow and unsupported.

Since then, Sandeep’s health has worsened significantly. He has endured:

Multiple transient ischemic attacks (TIAs)

Increasing chronic pain and fatigue

Low blood pressure and severe mobility loss

Eye sight Damage

Still, he never gave up—doing everything he could to regain strength and independence, even learning to feed and dress himself again with great effort.

A Major Setback

In June 2025 and 2024, Sandeep suffered 2 major strokes. It has left him unable to communicate and with severe weakness on the right side of his body, with eye sight/vision issues.

He is currently being treated at Hillingdon Hospital, where staff are doing their best to manage his many complex conditions.

But we are now at a critical point.

What Sandeep Urgently Needs

Once discharged, Sandeep will need intensive specialist rehabilitation to give him the best chance of recovering speech, mobility, and some independence. Unfortunately, the level and frequency of care he urgently needs are simply not available through the public system.

We are asking for your help to raise funds for:

Specialist stroke and neurorehabilitation therapy

Private physiotherapy and occupational therapy

Essential assistive devices

Ongoing support services for physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing
