Hi my name is Ann Petracco and we are organizing this campaign for our dear friend, class mate and colleague, Sandee Petway, a Venice, FL resident also from NJ. Sandee Petway, former Rutgers Women’s Track Coach and Abbott Industry employee was in a tragic automobile accident in July, 2021. She suffered a C5/6 fracture and spinal cord injury in the head on collision. She was at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and has been moved to Neuro Restorative in Sarasota, FL. Through rehab, there is some shoulder motion. Your financial support is needed for Sandee’s long term care.

She was a talented track athlete, coach, teacher and mentor. There is a wonderful article on www.NJ.com highlighting her career breaking the color barrier; the very day she was in the accident, Rutgers had contacted her to honor those accomplishments.
