Hi, my name is Sanai Christie, and I need your help to make it to Delaware State University this fall, where I’ll begin my journey to becoming a nurse.

I’ve worked hard to get here, making honor roll in high school and saving up what I could from working two jobs this summer… but I’m still falling short on the funds I need to start school. Without additional support, I won’t be able to attend this semester.

This isn’t just about college, it’s about building a better future for myself and my family. I’ll be a first generation college student and I want to show my younger siblings what’s possible when you push through, even when the odds are stacked against you.

DSU represents more than a school to me. It’s a place where I can grow, heal, and finally thrive. Living in Connecticut has been hard on my mental health, and this move is a chance to reset, rebuild, and become the woman I know I can be.
