Hi everyone, my name is Daniela Cabañas from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA. I am a mother of two who has seen enough violence against children within the last 5 months that I had to take action. I reached out to Gazans to see what I could do and one of them was a woman by the name of Sanaa Muhammad Abu Shalouf. I have become close to this woman as she has entrusted her faith in me.
Originally, Sanaa and her family are originally from the UAE but were displaced to the northern part of Rafah. This is her story:
“Welcome. I am a woman from Gaza. I have 4 children. My children love life and wish to live in safety. My child, Lama, suffers from anemia, but there is no healthy food, and she does not have pampers or milk. They haven't even eaten fruit for many months. We dream of living in safety and stability. We want to travel to a place that contains us and makes them feel safe. They are greatly terrified by the sounds of the missiles and hide under the bed, thinking that this is how they will escape from the barbarity of the occupation. Don't leave my children, please help us.”
Sanaa’s only mission in life is to keep her children safe and away from the carnage of the Israeli’s genocidal onslaught. Please, help us protect the families of Palestine against collective punishment and provide them with the funds necessary to survive. Everything from food, medical supplies, clothing, blankets, and other goods will be provided with this fundraiser along with the hope of evacuation into Egypt.
