Help Sana & Juan Recover After Eaton Fire in Altadena

My name is Samantha Abrams, I am blessed to know my friend Sana as she works for the company I founded, Emmy's Organics. We both live in Los Angeles on the east side. As I watched the Eaton Fire from my window, I panicked thinking about Sana and her husband, Juan, and their new house which they recently purchased and renovated to be their dream home. Altadena has a lot of significance for them since Juan was raised there.

The house was built in 1925, which meant it lived for 100 years!

Let's help Sana and Juan rebuild after losing everything. All donations will go directly to them to and help navigate the next chapter of their lives after such a massive tragedy.

A message from Juan:

"When Sana and I toured Mount Lowe, we knew immediately that it was the one. In two years, we created some everlasting memories. From our remodel journey, engagement by the fireplace, and the hosting of a Christmas, Thanksgiving, and birthday party with friends and family.

For us, Mount Lowe was the embodiment of our collective love for our family (many of which were neighbors), nature, and the special community that IS Altadena. Altadena is a collection of people and ideals not houses. While we mourn our loss, we choose to look to at the opportunities of rebuilding that ideal. This is our personal perspective and we sympathize with the impact on others, as the devastation is tremendous.

We cannot stress enough that the most beautiful part of this experience is the outpouring of love and support from people in our lives. From family, close friends, neighbors, coworkers, and acquaintances...it's overwhelming. At this point, just knowing we have that support is all we need and thank you.

We are safe. Our friends and family in the area are safe. Our pets are safe."
