Help Sammy’s partner with healing and leftover expenses

Samuel Van Dyke was a loving father , partner , brother, son, and friend to many people he he considered family. On Friday evening he was with me on a date night and we went out to a back patio to go hangout. Where a man came out and was disrespectfully talking to a woman with me around on the phone saying disturbing things . Sammy talked to the man to try and get him to be quieter. Once the man said a racial slur sammy stood up and The person slammed a bottle into his neck that gave him fatal wounds. I then responded as quickly as I could thinking a punch was just thrown to break it up but I noticed there was blood . In a state of shock I touched touched Sammy’s neck and stuck my hand over his wound to stop the bleeding and called 911 .

People then came out to help me while paramedics were there and i wasn’t informed til hours later at the hospital that he had died and lost all his blood. They did operate and get his heart going again but but unfortunately things were to damaged . He passed away peacefully Monday at 2am. Me and Sammy lived together and he left behind thousands in expenses that the family won’t be covering or helping with suddenly as I was completely reliant on him financially as he wanted so I could focus on my craft and get my health back and order. I’m now facing intense affects of ptsd and healing from this. I will be utilizing these funds to help my journey and get back on my feet again and healing .

The go fund me has changed due to his obligated next of kin not covering these thousands of expenses. There has been harassment and threats as a result of misinformation even though I tried to save Samuels life. I’m working to get justice for Sammy as I was the ONE eye witness to this tragedy. I will continue to work for the DA and have secured charges Because of this. I’ve already payed for expenses being apart of the legal process and it’s still in the beginning stages.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and people changing their minds to me after originally agreeing with documentation, They left me with no contact .

i will do the work to do what I can behind the scenes to distribute properly like I intentionally wanted to do in the first place in honor of Sammy. Even though I have no way to. I hope everyone understands can understand.

Sammy died protecting women’s lives like he has done his whole life and he is a hero/ warrior. He will be missed and he is in spirit forever.
