I am starting a GoFundMe for my son, Samuel Tobin, whom I love dearly, who is having a terrible life emergency/crisis that pains me so much to see. He had been working hard on pursuing his passion in the Culinary Arts, for which he is truly gifted. Ten years ago, he applied to the Culinary Institute of America. Then life happened, preventing him from achieving his goals. He kept in communication with the school through all of the unexplainable detours. He finally got accepted in 2025!

As he was preparing for his January 3, 2026 arrival for the Spring semester, on his way to work, December 17, 2025 he was struck by a large truck (F-250 or something like it). He and his motorcycle were dragged under the truck for at least 25 feet as the truck didn't stop immediately. Now being badly wounded and seriously injured without transportation and months of rehabilitation ahead, he is not sure how to continue. He will need help with relocation assistance (as I would like him to be closer to family and me and ultimately closer to school) food, shelter, transportation, medical, legal, rehabilitation, monthly bills and daily needs.

Samuel has had many challenges and continues to grow through life experiences. Thank you to everyone, friends and strangers alike, who can help with even the smallest of gifts, so that he is able to resume a full and productive life.
