My name is Samson, and I am raising money to help a close friend and their spouse with legal fees and medical care.

For the past few years, my friend has been dealing with ongoing chronic health issues requiring multiple surgeries and long-term life adjustments. This has required their spouse to act as their live-in caregiver, in addition to working full time and supporting the community through home repair and handyman projects.

While driving for work, my friend's spouse was pulled over, and has since been facing legal issues; unfortunately, they do not qualify for a public defender. Without funds to afford a lawyer, an honest, hard-working community member could potentially face jail time, leaving my friend without their spouse and primary caregiver, just as they approach another round of major heart surgery.

All funds raised will first go towards helping my friend and their spouse cover legal fees (including a lawyer); any additional funding will be used to support my friend and their spouse as my friend recovers from their most recent surgery.
