Sampson is a five-month-old Black Lab puppy who has already faced more challenges than most dogs his age. He was returned to his original family after his previous owners realized they couldn’t afford the surgery he desperately needs. Sampson has been diagnosed with entropion, a painful condition where his eyelids fold inward, causing his eyelashes to constantly rub against his eyes. If you’ve ever had an eyelash stuck in your eye, you know how uncomfortable that can be—imagine living with that pain every single day. Without surgery, Sampson risks permanent eye damage and even vision loss.

I am in the process of adopting Sampson and bringing him from Georgia to Florida, where he’ll be seen by a new veterinarian. He’s already been diagnosed by a vet in Georgia, and we’re working to get him set up with a new vet here in Florida as soon as he arrives. The surgery is urgent, but we need to raise funds before we can schedule the procedure. Every donation will go directly toward Sampson’s surgery and follow-up care, giving him the chance to live a pain-free, happy life.
