Every few years at Samohi the Japanese classes take a nearly 2 week long trip to Japan and go to many cities participating in home-stays, tours and sightseeing that requires students to use their newfound Japanese skills. This trip was expected to happen these last few years but due to Covid 19 closures many students did not have the chance to go. Now since restrictions are loosening, fundraising beginning and with permission from my Japanese teacher I set up this page to raise as much money as possible for all students going on this trip. The price per student used to be around $2500 which included flights, transportation, hotels, food, and much more; due to rising prices the total cost per student may go up to around $3000 per student and this fundraiser may help bring that price down.
