Sammy is a new friend, co-worker and wonderful person. His three-year-old daughter’s left lung stopped functioning. His daughter was life flighted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Children’s Hospital in Washington DC on September 2, 2021.  She remained in the PICU for two weeks.  Her condition has improved.   She was discharged on September 19, 2021.

Sammy and his immediate family have no relatives in the area. At this point, Sammy’s and his wife have 17 days in hospital bills, copays, and deductibles.  Sammy's daughter has many physical therapy, and follow-on appointments to come.
