Sammy, lovingly known as Sam Sam, joined our family in late April 2025 after surviving years in a puppy mill and living in outdoor cages. He endured harsh conditions, with a matted coat that made it impossible to tell his breed, and was exposed to the elements without proper care or an ounce of kindness. Despite his difficult past, Sammy has shown incredible resilience and a gentle, loving spirit that has quickly made him a cherished member of our family.

Recently, Sammy faced a serious setback: he was diagnosed with an intestinal blockage and intestinal failure. This has led to significant weight loss, frequent vomiting, and severe lethargy. On top of this, he is currently undergoing heartworm and intestinal parasite treatments. The surgery he needs is urgent and will be life-changing, giving him the chance to recover and enjoy the happy, healthy life he truly deserves.

The costs for Sammy’s surgery and ongoing care are overwhelming for us, especially with the added expenses of his other treatments.
