Many of you know Sammy, a kind, funny, and generous soul. He lost everything in the fire and is now staying in a small caravan at the skate park in Barrao with his two dogs. One of his dogs has "special needs" and does best in calm, safe spaces, he takes good care of his dogs.

We’re asking for help, with a donation Sammy can rebuild, but also to make these next weeks a little easier for him this is what helps:

A safe spot to park his caravan with the dogs (at least 2 weeks, until medronho season starts.

Work

Portable solar charger for his phone

Small gas cooker for tea or meals

Bicycle trailer for the dogs (so he can move around safely)

Sammy wouldn’t ask for himself, he even feels guilty to receive, putting other people first, while everyone seemed to have reached the goal, we are starting with zero for sammy. Right now he truly needs us. Supporting him now doesn’t just give him practical help, it reminds him he is seen, cared for, and not alone.

If you can give or share, it will make a huge difference. Let’s lift him up together. Thank you
