Help Sammy Heal: Support His Recovery

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help.

This is Sammy, a sweet and gentle Siamese boy who has been through more than any animal should ever have to endure. His story is heartbreaking - but with your support, we can give him the safe, loving future he deserves.

Recently, Sammy’s world was turned upside down when his owner passed away. Sadly, even before that, he was living in extremely unsanitary conditions. When we found him, he had been locked in a bathroom - completely alone, scared, without access to food or water, and surrounded by human waste. He was dehydrated, malnourished, and completely shut down, just waiting for someone to find him.

Thankfully, we were able to get to Sammy in time and get him to the animal hospital, where we spent 5 hours, until 4 a.m., doing everything we could to make sure Sammy got the care he desperately needed. The vet had to shave parts of his fur because of the strong odor from the conditions he’d been living in, a clear sign of just how long he had been left uncared for. On the bright side, he got a little haircut just in time for summer.

Now he is finally in safe hands - but his recovery is only just beginning.

The cost of his emergency care, ongoing treatment, and daily needs is quickly adding up. Sammy needs:

Beyond the physical healing, Sammy is still recovering emotionally. He’s a very shy boy who startles easily, but underneath the fear is a truly kind, loving soul. He wants to explore and connect - but he needs time, patience, and reassurance to rebuild his confidence.

We’re doing everything we can to help him, but we can’t do it alone. Your donation - no matter the amount - will go directly toward Sammy’s care and recovery. And once he’s strong enough, we’ll be working to find him a forever home where he can finally feel safe, cherished, and free.
