On March 1, Sammy was arrested and, after posting bond, was taken into ICE custody. Since then, he has been transferred through multiple detention centers across the country — from Florida (including Krome and Alligator Alcatraz), to Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and now California.

Because of this, communication has been extremely limited, and his situation is increasingly urgent.
