Hi, we're members of the N5OAK Amateur Radio Club. Long time member and former president, Sammy Arnold (N5TXR) is in need of some financial help as he recovers from a major heart surgery procedure.
Sammy's top need is the purchase of an electric powered scooter that will aid in his mobility. He will start an in-depth physical rehab process soon to begin rebuilding his strength and movement. Sammy's wife is mobility impaired as well, making it difficult for her to physically assist him. Having the scooter will help Sammy get around the house and to various appointments.
The need for funds is as soon as possible, as a suitable used scooter has been identified and this fund raising goal will help cover the costs. There will likely be other expenses that arise, but this is his most immediate need. Any contributions would greatly be appreciated by Sammy and his family!
